I found myself in a nightmare situation over the Easter weekend when it started to dawn on me that I may have incorrectly transcribed my seedphrase from BIP39 onto a Cryptotag Zeus seed plate. Some research took me to Steve’s Crypto Guide YouTube channel and a post about a script he had written to reconcile seedphrase errors. I reached out to him and, after a couple of Teams calls, he ran his btcrecover program and identified where I had made the error. One final Teams call had my assets reinstated and backed up and I cannot thank-him enough for his professionalism and calm demeanor throughout the entire process.
